COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The U.S. population is rapidly becoming more ethnically and racially diverse. The rapidly changing complexion of the average patient or client, practitioners may not have had exposure to advanced skills and tools in their initial training.

The goal of this class is to use medium depth peels together for a more dramatic and effective outcome. This class is designed to help you have an additional option when you want to:
•reduce resistant hyperpigmentation prevalent in Hispanic, Asian and darker skin tones
•improve the texture of leathery, sun damaged skin
•visibly reduce the appearance of acne scarring
•lessen the risk factor and complications when applying medium depth chemical agents on higher Fitzpatricks.

Learning Objective:
•know the basics of chemical peeling as it relates to skin conditions in all Fitzpatrick Skin Types
•identify and have a clear understanding of the mechanism of chemical exfoliating agents
•know the various chemical peel protocols delivering visible results•review common side effects include wound healing; follow up care and home care recommendations
