COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The 24 hour program will cover the following:

-Cancer and how the US cancer treatments affect the skin, hair, and nails and the modifications required for safe spa treatments.
-The psychological component and how to really help the client, their family and the caregivers.
-Consent forms and how to ask the right questions for the safety of the client.
-What adjustments need to be made within the facial or spa treatment to customize for the individual based on their current health.
-How to choose the right ingredients and products for compromised skin conditions.
-How to let your community and current clients know that you are now certified in this new information.
-Students will have the opportunity to meet and work with local cancer patients in the practical hands-on portion of the class.

For days 1 and 2, please dress comfortably. On day 3, please dress as if you were seeing clients. You will be seeing Cancer Patients on Day 3.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Becky Kuehn, LE, COE, COE National Educator

OE trainings are facilitated by Becky Kuehn, the US Director/National Educator for Oncology Esthetics-USA & Oncology Spa SolutionsTM.

Becky is a certified Master Esthetician and Cosmetologist with over 31 years of experience and has over 1000 hours of hands on experience working with people with cancer.
