**YOU NEED TO BRING A MODEL FOR THIS CLASS.

This HANDS-ON class will teach you what you need to know to provide professional Brazilian waxing services. This class is intense and deals with sensitive waxing issues. You will learn how to deal with these situations so you can perform this professional service and make your client feel comfortable. Once you build your Brazilian wax clientele, they will be your most loyal customers.

Prerequisite:
• This class is open to any licensed service provider who is allowed to perform body waxing under his/her state licensing requirements

Class Overview:

This 1-day workshop is designed for the service provider who would like to offer Brazilian waxing in their salon.
• This is an advanced workshop. If you do not have any waxing experience this is not the class for you.
• If you have waxing experience but do not currently offer Brazilian waxing, this would be a great class to attend.
• If you currently provide Brazilian waxing and just want to advance your current skills, this would be a great class for you.

You Will Learn:
Theory
(accounts for the first 30 minutes and reinforced during the entire workshop)

• Waxing basics will be briefly discussed.
• Waxing dos and don'ts (Contradictions).
• Proper sanitation which will continue throughout the training.
• What before and after products to use and why.
• How to permanently remove your clients hair using the proper products and increase revenue at the same time.
• How to relate to your first time waxers and calm their fears.
• Age requirements and friends getting waxed together.
• Importance of following the same waxing procedure each and every time.
• What paperwork should your waxing client complete and why.
• Initial conversation with your client. You need to find out some important details about what they expect.
• What to discuss before, during and after the wax. This will determine if your customer will return.
• How to WOW your client and generate massive referrals.
• What your client should wear during their waxing procedure.
• Who should trim the hair - you or them.
• How long should the hair be and how should they prepare their skin for an optimum wax.
• What should your customer do prior to their appointment.
• How long before a special event should your client get waxed.
• What waxes to use and why.
• How many waxes need to be warmed and ready to go.
• How to deal with difficult-to-wax customers.
• Should I charge more if a customer takes longer to wax?
• How to discuss any waxing reactions your client may be having. Keeping your client informed.
• How to be comfortable with body parts.

Hands on:
(accounts for about 90% of the workshop)

• How to divide the bikini area into distinct sections so you can wax your client efficiently.
• How to determine hair growth patterns and remove the hair accordingly.
• How to remove the hair when it grows in multiple directions without breaking the hair.
• How to touch your client so you can maneuver the skin in the proper position to be waxed.
• Where to use strip wax and where to use hard wax.
• How to get the butt waxed without embarrassing your client or making them get on all 4’s.
