COURSE DESCRIPTION:
While not really a massage technique but more of its own disciple, reflexology has a strong following. But many licensed massage therapists and Licensed Aestheticians find that additional reflexology training helps take their career to a new level servicing there client's..

In this foundational Reflexology certification course you will learn the basic techniques of foot reflexology.
Homework -10 hours documented sessions between dates for completion certificate. The total CEU’s are 38 hours- 28 will be in the classroom and 10 (1) hour practice (sessions) for homework-in-between dates integrating the work
Students will be expected to take a final written and practical exam on last day of the course.
After completing 10 documented session hours students will be awarded a Certificate of Proficiency from Atlanta School of massage.

Foot reflexology is a science based on the principle that there are areas on the feet which correspond to all of the glands, organs and parts of the body. It is a unique method of stimulating the reflex areas which help bring the body back into its natural state of wellness and balance.
The science foot reflexology is not new is not new. This ancient technique was practiced as early as 2330.B.C.
Today, when over 75-80% of our health problems are related and linked to stress, reflexology can help benefit:
Stress reduction through deep relaxation
Improved blood circulation
Body functions are normalized to promote self-healing
Reflexology would benefit anyone who works in a massage, spa, clinical setting along with elderly and anyone who wants to provide a little more healing in the world!

Course is open to graduates of massage. Also an Aesthetics graduate may participate in the Cont’Ed class, although the CEU’s will not be appropriate or accepted to the Cosmetology board.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Carol Venclik's relationship with the school began when she attended Atlanta School of Massage and graduated from the massage therapy program in 1996. From 2000 through 2008, In addition to her duties as instructing massage and aesthetic curriculums, Ms. Venclik was Director of Spa Therapies Wellness Massage Program. Her extensive knowledge and training background will be utilized toward the continued growth and advancement of the school’s aesthetics program.
Carol has been an aesthetics instructor at the Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics, a division of the Atlanta School of Massage, since 2005.
She continued on to receive licensing in massage, aesthetic instruction as well as the prestigious NCEA certification which she received in 2011.
She has over sixteen years of experience in the day spa industry.
Carols hands on techniques, skills, knowledge in all services as well as experience in training and leadership has supported and increased the success of each endeavor she has been involved with. At this point in Ms. Venclik’s career she is looking to share this experience, strength and knowledge empowering students on their journey in the massage, reflexology and aesthetics field.
