COURSE DESCRIPTION:
12 hands on CE hours, 4 lecture CE hours.


This 16 CE hour course provides an in-depth understanding behind the theory and practical application of kinesiology taping for sports injury rehabilitation and prevention. Course material includes neurological concepts of proprioception, pain, and power output as well as the characteristics of kinesiology tape and how they interact with these neurological concepts. The dynamics of fluid flow in lymph and blood vessels in injury are also covered in their interactions with kinesiology tape, allowing for accelerated repair and recovery of damaged tissue.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Dr. Daniel J Cooper, D.C. is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and is licensed as a chiropractic physician in the state of Florida. His post graduate training includes certifications in Active Release Techniques (A.R.T.), Graston Technique, Kinesio Taping; board eligibility in Functional Neurology, and extensive training in Functional Rehabilitation as well as Functional Medicine. This additional post-graduate education reflects his dedication to excellence in the multi-modal philosophy of holistic health generation. With a colorful history as an accomplished athlete and combat veteran, Dr. Cooper's focus on returning patients to their optimal levels of performance stem from personal experience with physical setbacks and their emotional ramifications. His extensive experience translates to the classroom with an engaging and animated learning experience.
